Where It All Began
Pat Gwinn’s love affair with radio began at nine years old, when he’d sit cross-legged in front of the television pretending to be Walter Cronkite, narrating the news of the day to an audience of no one in particular. That early fascination with the craft of broadcasting never faded – it sharpened into a lifelong calling that carried him from board operator to morning host, programming manager, station owner, and one of Carolina Beach Music’s most devoted ambassadors.
